Are you ready to set off on a wonderful adventure to discover the history and nature of Romagna?
You absolutely cannot miss these places: Rimini, Santarcangelo di Romagna, San Leo and Ravenna!
Let’s start from Rimini, the enchanting seaside town that combines fun and culture like no other.
Here you can immerse yourself in the nightlife, but also discover the thousand-year history of the city by visiting its many cultural attractions: the "Ponte di Tiberio", one of the symbols of Rimini, or the Rimini Cathedral, a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture.
Let’s take a leap into the countryside just 7 km from us, where you will find Santarcangelo di Romagna, a small jewel set among the hills.
The historic centre of Santarcangelo is quite a sight, with its cobbled streets and ancient palazzos.
If you have a sweet tooth, you cannot miss the local speciality: piadina! It pops up everywhere, but beware: only the homemade one is the true and only piadina from Romagna.
Our tour continues to San Leo, a medieval village perched on a hill with a breath-taking view of the Marecchia valley..
Here you will breathe in a magical atmosphere, with narrow streets and alleyways full of history.
But don’t stop there: also visit the fortress, which has been the prison of illustrious personalities such as the Count of Cagliostro or the famous condottiere Giuseppe Garibaldi.
Finally, we could not fail to mention Ravenna, the city of mosaics, which was the capital of the Western Roman Empire and later of the Ostrogoth dynasty.
Here you can admire UNESCO heritage sites such as the Basilica of San Vitale and the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, with its mosaics that will leave you speechless.
And you, are you ready to set out to discover Emilia-Romagna and these wonders? You won’t regret it! Ask Erica for information.
